About Me
& Jelly Bean…
My favorite part of being a therapist is witnessing the uniqueness and resilience of each of my clients as they unpack the stories that have brought them to therapy. Choosing to go to therapy and committing to doing the work is a decision I don’t hold lightly. I realize the vulnerability it takes to share your full self with someone. If you have found yourself here, I appreciate you considering me to be the one who walks beside you.
My specialties include working with trauma, often specific to PTSD and CPTSD. I am an EMDR-certified therapist. I also support individuals who struggle with self-criticism, self-esteem, depression & anxiety. Not to mention, I am incredibly passionate about supporting kids & teens with self-discovery through their childhood and adolescent years.
My approach to therapy is based on strengthening the connection between the mind and body. The embodiment of self and connectedness to self is a primary focus in my work with individuals.
I received my undergraduate degree in Sociology from the University of Colorado, Boulder (Go Buffs!). I became a Master of Marriage and Family Therapy through my graduate program at the University of Southern California. Currently, I am part of a group practice called My Denver Therapy. Luckily, if you decide to work with me it’s a package deal. My dog Jelly Bean is a therapy companion who works full-time in the office with me. We can’t wait to meet you!
